Step 1: Prepare Your Custom Divider(s)

  • You can create 3 custom dividers. Save the file names as:
    • custom-divider-a.svg
    • custom-divider-b.svg
    • custom-divider-c.svg
  • Your design should be a solid colored shape, not a multicolored one.
  • Put it on a SQUARE canvas.
  • It will need to be a SVG file. You can convert a transparent PNG to a SVG using the third-party tool found here: https://convertio.co/png-svg/
  • (Don’t want to make your own? Choose from our complimentary library of dividers!)

Step 2: Upload

  • Access to your WordPress theme files via FTP, cPanel’s File Manager, or a third-party plugin like WP File Manager
  • Navigation to the wp-content folder
  • Create a new folder called “custom-assets” if you haven’t already
  • Upload your custom divider files

Step 3: Use Your Custom Dividers On Your Site

  • When you add a “separator block” to WordPress, choose one of the “custom dividers” in the “Styles” settings:
