Customizing The Header & Footer

The header and footer are both Template Parts. Check out the theme documentation article on Using Templates & Template Parts.

HOW TO EDIT YOUR HEADER/FOOTER:

  • Navigate to Appearance >> Editor
  • You should see a screen like this (if you don’t, click the LOGO or BLACK SQUARE in the top left corner):
Where to find your template parts
  • Choose the template part you want to edit
  • Use the editor to edit the template part
  • When you are satisfied, save your changes. The changes will take effect on any page that displays that template part.
