It’s a new year. The holidays are over. Breathe. For me, 2014 was great, but it was also stressful and hectic. After 3.5 years of blood, sweat, tears, foot stomps, tantrums, hard work, and dedication, I finished up my last graduate class a few weeks ago. Now, all that stands between me and graduation is finishing up my thesis and a capstone course in the summer. It’s been a rewarding process, but I am so ready to be done and start being able to completely focus on doing what I love: designing. And there better be a bit more relaxing than there was last year, or I’m going to lose it!
I’m unofficially declaring 2015 the year of minimalism. I’m looking forward to purging the unnecessary from every aspect of my life. (I’ve already started with my closet! Note to self EVERYONE: don’t buy shoes that are a size too small just because they’re cute, on sale, and they don’t have your normal size left. You will not wear them.)
