Hello, my friends! It’s been a while since we’ve posted on the Dinosaur Stew blog, but we have been VERY active behind the scenes. We are so excited to share some HUGE & EXCITING updates with you soon!
Here’s a little sneak peek of what’s to come:
1. We’re rebranding!
While we love our existing visual branding, we wanted to update things just a lil bit.
Drawing inspiration from the southwest & our favorite LA coffee shops (a weird combo? Maybe. But when inspiration strikes…), we hope our new branding reflects our fun yet stylish vibe.
Here’s a sneak peek of our new logo, which you may find sprinkled in a few places right now. We’ll be switching over our entire website, socials, etc. soon!
2. We’re Releasing New WordPress Themes Soon!
It’s been a hot minute since we’ve released a new WordPress theme. We promise, there’s a good reason for that!
Over the past few years, WordPress has undergone big changes. A couple years ago, it was the introduction of the Gutenberg editor, which many of y’all may be familiar with.
More recently, WordPress released something called the “full site editor.” For you guys: it’s now easier than ever to build stuff in WordPress. The entire process of simply creating a website page is more visual than it was in the past, with more flexibility and endless possibilities.
We knew these changes were coming to WordPress and knew that they would drastically affect the way we develop our templates, so we played the waiting game for a while!
We always keep a watchful eye on WordPress’s development roadmap, and we didn’t want to release a template before they introduced the full-site editing experience, because we knew the full-site editing experience would be pretty awesome and we wanted to take full advantage of that!
So, we waited for the technology to catch up, and when the full-site editing experience was finally released earlier this year, we put the gas to the pedal and have been developing ever since!
(We also spent our time doing pretty cool nerdy things, from studying UX and UI best practices to improving our knowledge of Javascript. And as always, we’ve been working with clients one-on-one to better understand all of your specific wants and needs when it comes to websites, branding, and more.)
After beta testing with real clients for the past few months, we’re happy to announce that our new WordPress templates are ALMOST ready to launch! We are putting on those finishing touches as I speak.

3. A Brand New Knowledge Hub Full Of Resources
It’s gonna have a snappier name than “Knowledge Hub”, but we want to keep some things a surprise!
All of our resources — from cheatsheets to master classes to shorter video tutorials — will be part of one collective Knowledge Hub.
We believe knowledge = confidence, and we’re here to provide you with the resources you need to do things better online.
You’ll just login and have instant access to tools to help you develop your brand values, learn SEO basics, and all the nerdy stuff like that.
The Knowledge Hub will also include over 2 hours of how-to videos to help you learn how to use the aforementioned WordPress full-site editor.
4. Website Set-Up Services & Custom WOrk
We will still be offering our white glove website set-up service, and our door is always open for custom one-on-one work! So if you aren’t a DIY-er, have no fear! We got you.
5. Templates For Other Platforms? You Tell Us!
Although we’ve talked about it a lot here, we work with other platforms besides WordPress.
